Hey gang. I'm looking to purchase a new lens for my Nikon D7100.

I'chiliad down to these final two:

Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-80mm

Nikon AF-Due south FX NIKKOR 24-120mm

I mainly shoot sports, both football game and basketball. It's college games so the arenas are normally well lit in general, and the football game stadiums are lit well at night.

I can't beget something bigger right now, only I'thousand looking for something that can handle closeups and get a trivial altitude (80-120mm range).

So, what do you guys think is the all-time selection in this scenario?
